The National Basketball Referees Association (NBRA) and the WNBA have announced the ratification of a Letter of Agreement addressing issues related to the delayed start of the WNBA season at IMG Academy, the Official Home of the 2020 WNBA Season in Bradenton, Florida.

“The NBRA is proud to have worked with the WNBA, in collaborative fashion, in order to ensure the referees’ terms and conditions of employment for this unique season were addressed,” said NBRA General Counsel Lucas Middlebrook. “We applaud the WNBA for its focus on the health and safety of its professional referees.”

The NBRA is proud to join the WNBA community to address important health and safety concerns while at the same time bringing the best basketball product back for our fans.
